Test Structure
Each section presents a different listening context and question type — increasing in difficulty.
Section 1 — Social Context
A conversation between two speakers about everyday topics — booking accommodation, making enquiries, arranging travel. Labels, forms, and short answers.
Section 2 — Educational Context
A monologue on a general topic — a talk about a public service, a museum, or a training course. Maps, plans, multiple choice, and matching.
Section 3 — Academic Context
A conversation among up to four speakers in an academic setting — tutorial discussion, group project planning. Multiple choice, matching, and short answers.
Section 4 — Lecture Context
A monologue on an academic subject — lecture on science, environment, or history. Long-gap completion, multiple choice, and diagram labeling.
